Why We Started Pixie Play Club

We created the holiday club we wanted for our own children.

Pixie Play Club started with a very real parent problem. When we looked for holiday programmes for our own children, we struggled to find something that balanced sensible costs, longer hours and the kind of fun we actually wanted them to have.

Some options were too short to genuinely help families, some felt expensive for a full holiday period, and many seemed to turn the school break into more lessons.

We wanted something different: a place where children could play, create, move, explore, make friends and simply enjoy being on holiday — while parents had a practical, well-organised option that worked around real family life.

Our British Inspiration

A British-inspired idea, shaped for Singapore.

We kept coming back to the British holiday-club model: longer days built around play, creativity, movement, choice and friendship rather than a timetable dominated by academics. That idea became the starting point for Pixie Play Club.

We have adapted it thoughtfully for Singapore’s diverse international-school communities, so children can enjoy a proper school holiday while parents have a reliable, longer-day option they can feel good about.

Parent-Led by Design

Built with the understanding that comes from living it.

Pixie Play Club was founded by three parents from the international-school community. We understand the long school breaks, the pressure of balancing work and family life, and the importance of knowing that your child is safe, happy and genuinely enjoying their day.

British-inspired describes where the concept comes from — not who it is for. Pixie Play Club is welcoming and inclusive, bringing children together through shared experiences, new friendships and the freedom to play.
